How to pdf to powerpoint

  1. Choose your PDF, or drop it on the page.
  2. Pick the render resolution: 150 DPI keeps slides sharp without huge files.
  3. Press Convert. Each page is rendered to an image and placed on a slide.
  4. Download the .pptx deck.

About this conversion

Each PDF page is rendered to an image with PDF.js at the resolution you choose, then placed full-bleed on its own slide with PptxGenJS: page one becomes slide one, in order, in a genuine .pptx that PowerPoint, Keynote and Google Slides all open.

Because slides are images, the deck looks exactly like the PDF pages - fonts, spacing and graphics all travel perfectly. That fidelity is the tradeoff by design: the text on the slides is not editable in PowerPoint. If you need editable text, PDF to Word extracts it honestly.

The jobs it exists for: presenting a PDF report on a screen, turning a designed document into a deck-shaped handout, and moving pages between tools that insist on .pptx.

Limits and honest notes

Slides are images, so there is nothing to edit inside PowerPoint. The slide canvas is 13.33 x 10 inches; pages of any shape are scaled to fit without distortion.

96 DPI produces smaller files that read fine on screens; 150 DPI is the default and better for projection. More pages means a larger file and a longer render. Password-protected PDFs are refused with a clear message.

Up to 50 MB per document. Everything runs in this tab; nothing is uploaded.

Frequently asked questions

Is the text on the slides editable?

No: each slide is a faithful image of the PDF page. That is what guarantees it looks right. Use PDF to Word if you need the text to edit.

Which resolution should I pick?

150 DPI for projection and printing. 96 DPI if file size matters more than sharpness.

Why are my slides 4:3-ish and not 16:9?

The slide canvas matches typical PDF page proportions and scales pages to fit without distortion.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. Rendering and the .pptx build run entirely in your browser.

Private by design
